If you love the outdoors then take advantage of the boundless natural beauty that surrounds Plymouth State! Our campus is just minutes from the White Mountain National Forest where you’ll find miles and miles of trails and mountains for you to hike, bike, and climb. Our proximity to Squam Lake means that you can also go sailing, canoeing, or swimming. With so many amazing natural riches around us, it’s no wonder that outdoor life plays a huge role in the culture of our school!

To help you take advantage of all the outdoor opportunities, visit our Outdoor Center located in the ALLWell North Building. The Outdoor Center offers the OER program (Outdoor Equipment Rental) which is FREE OF CHARGE to all PSU students. We have equipment for summer, fall, winter, and spring outdoor activities, including paddling, climbing, camping, skiing, snowshoeing and much more.

Hours of Operation

Summer: The Outdoor Center is closed during the Summer months (May 14 to August 29, 2016)
